I only got to put 30 rounds through it today. Finding the dot is as easy as lining up your sights. Accuracy is amazing, but it quickly shows sloppy gun control.

Yup, just line up your sights like normal and the dot is there.
Anyone interested in test driving it, just let me know.

I only shot two fast strings, but I noticed that finding the dot was instant.

Good to hear. In the few times I've shot a pistol with a red dot, I found that I sometimes spent more time trying to find the dot than I would if I was just getting back on the sights. But I think once that's overcome, the dot would be much faster.

Did you do any longer-range shooting?

No, I didn't have time to really play with it. Hopefully I'll be able to in the next few weeks.

    Looking forward to hearing more.

Obviously fundamentals are fundamentals, but I'm curious if the single aiming point of a red dot would make longer distance shots easier.

I would love to some time, I'm going to MCFG saturday morning...

Just curious why they put the BUIS in front of the RMR instead of behind it?

Anybody know how well these hold up to heavy recoil? I've been thinking about getting one for my Super Redhawk .44 for a while.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

I think I read that this is your EDC, so what holster are you going with?

    Serpa Blackhawk

    I don't know.
