    I had one way back when. Kinda miss it. Finish was a little fragile and the DA pull was impossible but otherwise perfect fine gun.

    Agree, DA pull is literally off the scale. DA trigger does lighten up with use but mine are still over 8 lbs (my trigger scale maxes out at 8 lbs).

    My opinion for JB142...
    I enjoy shooting the light weight alloy frame Tristars (C, L and T models).
    If the CZ design is for you the Tristar/Canik line is a cheaper option but still reliable. Don't recall ever having any malfunction with any of mine with thousands of rounds through them.
    Its a shame that Tristar doesn't support the line with parts any more. I bought some spare recoil springs from Tristar when I saw that Canik had dropped the line since the full length guide rod in the Tristar isn't compatible with CZ springs.
    Mags are interchangeable with CZs which is nice if you also own CZs.

    I changed out the mainspring, which made it a little more reasonable.
