    Or modify the deck itself to have a slide out piece of steel that you can bolt/secure into place when you need the extra length. Something like this, but you're only coming out 12".

    I dont think that would work, because when I need it I would have a trailer on. If I don't have a trailer on I would put one on to haul. I really like the idea of building ramps, because I could make them bolt in, and only have them in when needed.

    I might be missing something but could you use ramps at the front of the bed, that old hypotenuse trick?

    Amazing. INGO is truly amazing.

    I never thought geometry would come in handy, but there it is, in real world application. Thought about putting purple in there, but then decided not to, because well... geometry to the rescue.

    And before anyone gets up in arms, I know engineers, etc use geometry and much other math on a daily. Just not so much me in my everyday.
