On one hand, it seems reasonable to not nominate an individual that was recently or currently convicted of felonious actions. On the other hand, it seems absurd to think political persecution and the jailing of political rivals is o.k. It's not o.k. It's 3rd world banana republic level BS. The funny part about ¡RON! is that he believes he'll be the nominee if Trump is removed. I think ¡RON! might be counting his chickens before the eggs have hatched. In fairness to him, he did re-commit to honoring his pledge if Trump is the nominee. Oh, and since this was MSNBC, maybe DeSantis was simply matching his words to his perceived audience.
