^^^Exactly^^^. The battle isn't over until we get a patriot in the post, not an apparatchik. Wouldn't hurt to tell Trump why this guy got deep-sixed, either (I already have) for the same reasons

It's about time some of our people put their foot down.

We need to have more of our people in the president's ear, so these poor decisions relating to the 2A don't happen in the first place. The president will listen to the right people advising him.
