Any of you guys carry a trunk gun. What do you carry? How do you carry it? Special mounting? I never researched the topic but I have no doubts its legal.

I don't know that it's officially earned the title of "trunk gun" on purpose, but I took it out shooting and it sucked and it has stayed buried in my trunk since, but a Marlin 795. Think I got a lemon, since everyone else seems to love theirs.

Get a hitch mounted and use one of these so that you don't take up room in the trunk!

If I could make it hard to find in my car, I'd love to get a designated trunk gun if for no other reason than I travel every week and it seems like I never have a good rifle on me when people from various parts of the state want to go shooting.

Don't have a "trunk" gun but I have a "truck" gun. AK47 underfolder with 20 rd tanker mags. Keep it in a pistol grip shotgun bag and under the passenger seat. Fits quite nicely. Doesn't slide around. Not many other places in my truck with the wheelchair and lift system.

A 10/22 takedown is on a wish list for another truck gun...

I've actually been thinking about a "truck" gun, too.... Considered a 10/22 takedown or an AOW Remmy 870 w/ bandelier of various 12GA shells.

Personally, I am looking at a underfolder AK for a "truck" gun or the RRA LAR-PDS if I want to stick with 5.56

Since I sold my WASR 10/63 to get something else, I keep my M48 yugo in a range bag under the back seat. Plan on switching to a WASR or 12 ga. when funds allow.

I would like to get a semi-auto tactical 12 gage for the house and then move my winchester defender to the trunk.

The KelTech Sub 2000 in 9mm with Glock mags. They make a nice soft case that fits under the seat. Mine contains the Sub 20000, (2) factory mags, (4) 33 round mags and 200 rounds of ammo in the boxes. That gives me an accurate weapon and over 300 rounds of ammo in a very small and concealable package.
