What are some of the things that you have used or heard used as tumbler media? I've read corncobs and walnut shells seem to work well but as I was looking at an empty bowl of popcorn I got to wondering how well the unpopped kernels would work. What are some other things that work?

I apologize if this is a FAQ but I searched and didn't see anything.

Walnut and corn cob for sure... I started using a sonic cleaner and am impressed with the results that i have gotten with it. Maybe look it to that

I guess I've gotten cheap in my old age, but I use Petco Lizard Litter. Works like a charm and really, really cheap.

I use the fine grain walnut from Harbor Freight. Got 20lbs for $26 shipped. I buy Frankford Arsenal's corn cob ($11 for 7lbs) with some Nu Finish car polish and my cases look great.
