I had a Sig M400 that I bought used and the PO had installed an aftermarket spring. I took it to the range and was getting double taps on every other trigger pull. I procured an original spring for it and at the time being new to ARs, installed it the same way I took the old one out. Same result.. 2 to 3 shots per pull. I found out that on some ARs if you install the spring upside down, which he had done and I repeated, it will fire occasionally in 2-3 shot bursts. Hmmm....

It's made for uppers with barrels fitted with bayonet lugs, and launches the bayonet, when attached, with the same ballistics as a 5.56x45mm M193 round. More effective at terrifying the enemy than grenades from a grenade launcher.

An example of one locked and loaded with an M9 ready for launch.

    P.S.
16" barrel carbine upper with mid-length gas system. Bought it specifically to allow bayonet attachment, along with a more subdued recoil compared to carbine length gas system.
    love your rifle
