Tutorials for homemade folders?

I'm having trouble finding good tutorials online to make folding knives that use locks OTHER THAN liner locks. I have found a few good tutorials for liner-lock designs, but I want to see a few other designs before I commit to one type of lock, as my materials are limited. Can you please direct me to a good tutorial for making folding knives? In addition, what is your favorite lock, and why?

My suggestion would be to put a couple kits together. Folder Kits

Do a couple of those and you can either fabricate parts to match the kits or modify them to make your own. Either way you'll get the idea of how they work.

Okay, thanks! I've got a slip-joint knife in my collection (my only one, actually!), and it seems to be fairly easy to make. I shall start with that.
