Correction. I thought all involved were from Minnesota. Turns out only the fugitive was, the bounty hunters were from Corpus Christi.

Also the bounty hunters had ballistic vests. In their car.

I keep one draped over my chair here in the shop....You never know when you may need it but when you do you'll at least be able to say you knew where it was when you did....An interesting last thought to have....

It's just too dang hot to where but when my nephew comes in to help I let him wear it...It makes him feel like Batman...

Dang, now I may have to get me one. I wouldn't even leave it in the trunk or on a chair either, I would build a fancy closet for it in the basement with automatic doors and such.

Looks like he had the background for the job...Sad story all around right there..Oh and God Bless Texas...I mean that...Love that State and I am in the minority here but I love Beaumont.....

Only time I have ever had to draw my weapon was in Beaumont, left a sour taste in my mouth, will not be back. Love East Texas though, no place better.

Although there is lots of fail in this story the fact is that the bad guy pulled a gun on the bounty hunters, I really would have figured the bounty hunter that was on top of the guy would have put one point blank in his head and been done with it but what do I know.

It is said they were "waiting for hours" for him to come in....If so why not confront him when he exited his vehicle while he was outside? Or wait for him to leave??? I also understand the man who was the fugitive's firearm fell to the table when he tried to pull it on them...It seems to me that would be a "fumble" situation where one of the bounty hunter's would have thrown himself on that firearm....

It pains me to agree with Kut twice in one week (it happened once last year as well and I pulled through it) but there is quite a bit of fail on the part of the bounty hunters...

Also if I were going to be a "bounty hunter" I would try to keep myself in a little better shape physically...Dog and his crew may be kind of goofy but they all seem to keep themselves in shape...Makes me wonder whether, "I don't want to have to run after this guy" played into the way it went down...I.E. "Wait until he is sitting down in that office and cornered before we make our move.."

    IMHO

It's my understanding that you can build a resistance to that. So be careful. The more you do it the easier it is the next time.

Yeah, I've got one sitting in the corner over there...covered in dust. See, now you make we want to clean my office.

Maybe the bounty hunters should have taken him in a movie theater after the lights went out.

Someplace with even more uncontrollable variables.

I guess I shouldn't have had to purple that...
