Uber in Crawfordsville?

I'm curious if there's reliable Uber coverage in Crawfordsville. I have used Uber in the past for running a shuttle on river floats around Indy. I'm planning on floating Sugar Creek, and want to know if I'm going to have trouble getting a ride on a Monday afternoon. We could take two vehicles, but Uber would be a cheaper option.

Because I'm rather ignorant of their app and how it works - is there no way to look on the app to see if there are providers in that area? Or do you just put out a request and then hope there's a driver nearby who sees the request and then accepts?

You open the app, it "pins" your location, you input where you're going, and searches for nearby drivers. It gives you a quote, then you either accept or decline.

I moved my pickup and drop off pins to the locations, but it said "no Uber X available." I don't know if this is the norm, or if it was a fluke that there were no drivers around when I searched.

Of course, finding someone in Crawfordsville with a functional vehicle who also has time to drive people around . . .
