    i have a high point 45 and yea it is ugly and really heavy for what it is but i gotta say its reliable but i hate the release for the clip thats gotta be the most annoying part about that gun

    I said before that I own two HP's and like them both for the guns that they are. I would really appreciate everyone being a little more sensitive to us HP owners needs don't cha know..........
    I am not out bashing everyone elses choice in firearms.

    Hi Guys,
    During WW II Delco in Anderson IN, and a few other companies made a .45 specifically designed to sneak up on an unsuspecting enemy soldier, pop him, and steal HIS weapon. It was dropped to resistance guys in france and other behind the lines groups. I"m sure one of you has a pic somewhere, I don't. It was supremely well suited to its task, but also supremely UGLY! Anyone know which pistol I"m talking about?
