    No kidding... The bullet is either going to pass through or not depending on whether there's a RLHB wearing the vest. Translation could be interesting... Maybe they're trying to evaluate or showcase how pain-free it is, and how after you take a bullet(s) you can stay in the fight?

    I'm hoping this guy was the inventor of the vest and was showing his confidence in the product. I assume the other guy didn't want people laughing at him, so he wanted his face blocked.

    I'm not sure what that proved that some accelerometers and load cells couldn't. Maybe they couldn't afford all that and just used a dummy.

    stupid question for a stupid video. what's happening here?
    at just after 0:36 mark, he fires a shot... it looks like two holes appear in the vest??? One precariously close to the edge.

    That kind of reminds me of the old 'Looney Tunes' cartoon from WWII where Bugs Bunny is hitting artillery rounds with a hammer to check for duds. Maybe they are not testing the vests, but are testing armor piercing ammo instead.
