    I'm with ya on the silver slide look...I definitely would prefer it in Glock Black!
    I like what you did with it to make it look more 'Glock-ish'!
    I did get to hold a Glock 48 this past week and, with my smaller hands, it does feel pretty good!

    You likely have a lot better finish on your refinished G48 than Glock's current black finishes.

    Glock's current black finish wears quickly and don't even get me started on rust. :xmad:

    You've had issues with the gen 5 finish?

    I don't have nearly the amount of rounds through any of my gen 5s to test the finish yet. But I have a little finish wear around the muzzles of my gen 4s. Personally, I like the looks of a little slide wear. Very anti-safe queen-ish. But rust would **** me off.

    I've worn the finish off a Glock slide in places but never had rust issues.
