The worst part? Republican pundits are too stupid to run up and down the street naked while shouting this at the top of their lungs.

Obama must be impeached NOW. Think how minor what Nixon did is compared to obama's treason every week.

I totally agree....The president could be impeached, but it would never make it through the Senate. The state of the democratic party today is protect the party first (very much unlike the republicans when Nixon was threatened with impeachment - by the republicans). It's party first, then country instead of country first. This country is in dire need of a true statesman!

Nah, The "R's" want the same power, and answer to the same people as the "D's"... they just talk a different game...:xmad:, so their pundits will spin it whichever way possible to kiss their beloved "R" Politicians behinds...

LOOK ppl, it is time for impeachment at the very least. Perhaps then maybe charges of treason or misprision of treason followed by.....a big oak tree. This president has committed one treasonous act after another since his inauguration and this is just what we KNOW about!

It's despicable but Truman did this same crap in Korea, it's really nothing new.
And Bush the Elder in Gulf War I. In both cases UN participation seems to have had relatively little effect on the conduct of the war, however awful it might have been (Korea).
World War II was in effect a UN operation, with the US having to pander to the Brits in Europe and CBI, which probably prolonged the war and multiplied human suffering.
It's pretty hard to stage a modern conflict without some international support. Even for a superpower.:twocents:

Kudos to the senator for stating that the "law" to deploy military forces is to seek congressional approval under the Constitution. This is how it SHOULD be done, but for the last 112 years how many times has that happened? I say: Leave NATO, removed the HQ from New York, and let Europe have it.
