    Any idea how many rep points are needed before the little bar begins to move? I have 33 rep points, but still just one green bar.

    First 5 dots are 100 points each. After 500 points, each dot is 200 points up to (I think) 1200. No more dots after that.

    I added a rep modification to the forum software a while back so that once you hit all the "pips" (green bars) you start from the beginning but you get a star under your profile. Bronze followed by silver and then gold.

    i know green is positive, red is bad and grey is neutral. but what is the neutral and neg point value? i have one grey(i think it was a new user)

    i have 10 pos comments, 1 neutral and i am sitting on 44 points :dunno:

    Er...neutral is zero points and negative is worth some number less than zero? I don't understand your question. The process works the same way for negative rep as it does for positive rep, which is already explained in the first post.
