Unionists would appear to have branched beyond socialism to outright thuggery, and spitting on the Constitution.

Let there be no mistake. If a unionist attacks me, I will kill him/her.

What do you think unions are other than legalized extortion? Where are our INGO union apologists now?

These are same folks who will show up to adjust your attitude after the labor laws are changed so that ballots on whether to go union or not are no longer secret.

Oh bull. What's the difference if they are in a union or not. You don't lose your rights when you join a union. Funny how you think because some nit wit wraps himself in a flag and calls him self a patriot suddenly he owns all the rights and only he can protest or disrupt meetings. Suddenly there's protestors protesting the protestors and they are thugs.

There no patriots in politics. They are all there for purely for their own self interest and no one else's.

I'm right here. I'm certainly no apologist My union was organized to save mens lives. I have rode from work twice in an ambulance. Would I have been dead 100 years ago? Those SEIU goons on youtube are not tradesmen but un/semi skilled people who apparently will do what they are told. My B.A. would never be so crazy as to try that with ironworkers.

I guess union factories are more dangerous than my non union factory as I've never left in an ambulance.

"One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that ‘violence begets violence.’ I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure—and in some cases I have—that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy" - Jeff Cooper

I'm pretty hard to get riled up, but the stuff the left is doing to try to keep normal Americans from publicly expressing their views at townhall meetings not just wrong, it is downright scary.

I work at a closed shop and have to be a union member to work there. I am ashamed to be a union member. I doi not need a fat *** union steward or ba to do anything for me but get out of my way and let me do my job.
Every union member with a mind of their own should write a letter or make a call and let the union know what they think of these tactics.
Yes if pushed I will definately push back. These midless idiot thugs have no mind of their own and have no business being there unless they have something meaningful to say. There is no need to use these thugs to "control" anything. They are the ones who need to be controlled.

I'm another Union member that is making no apologies.

I can assure you few unions would be supporting violence and the broad paint brush being used by the Media is just another way to intimidate concerned citizens.

Because a thug shoots someone over tennis shoes, do we label all guns as bad?
Because a guy drives drunk and destroys another's family, do we ban liquor?

Come on lets use our heads here.

I have nothing against you for being non union,
you have nothing against me for being union.
It's our choice, you have your reasons, I have mine.

These Town Meetings and their discussions are an opportunity to
voice what "WE THE PEOPLE" expect from our government.

The current administration will do what ever it takes to continue with its agenda.

It succeeded with ACORN and the election,
It succeeded with the bailout of GM & Chrysler,
We now have CZAR'S. (what the heck is this and how did this happen???)
and it will succeed with Health Care Reform if we don't work together.

We have to keep the heat on Washington and our Elected Officials from all sides.

    They are afraid,
    they are feeling the heat,
    they are trying different tactics,
they think they can beat us.

    They are wrong!!!

If they want a fight then lets take it to them but not in violence, IN NUMBERS!

We need to attend these Town Meetings.

Your Town not having one, go to someone else's.

    Our Strength is in Numbers.

The Media is all over the Town Meetings.
This is our chance to be heard.
They need to report back to Washington that, "We the People have had enough.

That WE don't work for Washington,
WE do expect them to listen to our needs,
and WE are holding them accountable.

I know we all have more fight in us than what's been shown so far.

We can do more, I know I can.

If we don't stop this madness right now, then when?

    Whats next?

Later in your post, you say "fight them not with violence, not with numbers." Problem is, your brothers are fighting with violence, an act for which you just stated you make no apologies.

To lump all union members into a camp that supports violence, would be similar to lumping all gunowners into a camp that supports gun violence. Being in a union makes me no more part of these antics than me being part of gun violence. We need to see the forest, not focus on a tree. We are all part of a union, like it or not. It is called the United States, a union of states. As I read Arm America's post, I thought he made it clear. He is a proud member of a union and does not support the violence called upon by some of the unions leadership. I will proudly stand beside union or non-union patriots against this bill. My country comes before my union, and I think you would be hard pressed to find any union member that feels differently.

All I can say is do not be afraid. Do not let these things allow you to lose faith in the movement and be silenced. My guess is that there are just a few instances of any real intimidation, meant to scare off the faint-hearted from coming out to say how they really feel.

The whole point is to scare and shut up the masses that want the government to stay out of their healthcare.
The media will play up each instance and slant it for their own purposes.

    saw such tactics

as an ibew union member I too have seen these tactics used to humiliate and intimidate especially at election time... I am in the minority at work who is definitely conservative and definitely pro gun and I have made this very well known.... my opinion is that they resort to violence because the masses are too ignorant to use any other means...same people would vote for a monkey in a hat if it said democrat on it :)

You can apparently add racism to the attack. His lawyer put out a letter on the attack.
    August 7, 2009

    Dear Mr. Hennessy:

I am Kenneth Gladney’s attorney. Kenneth was attacked on the evening of August 6, 2009 at Rep. Russ Carnahan’s town hall meeting in South St. Louis County. I was at the town hall meeting as well and witnessed the events leading up to the attack of Kenneth. Kenneth was approached by an SEIU representative as Kenneth was handing out “Don’t Tread on Me” flags to other conservatives. The SEIU representative demanded to know why a black man was handing out these flags. The SEIU member used a racial slur against Kenneth, then punched him in the face. Kenneth fell to the ground. Another SEIU member yelled racial epithets at Kenneth as he kicked him in the head and back. Kenneth was also brutally attacked by one other male SEIU member and an unidentified woman. The three men were clearly SEIU members, as they were wearing T-shirts with the SEIU logo.

Kenneth was beaten badly. One assailant fled on foot; three others were arrested. Kenneth was admitted to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center emergency room, where he was treated for his numerous injuries. Kenneth was merely expressing his freedom of speech by handing out the flags. In fact, he merely asked people as they exited the town hall meeting whether they would like a flag. He in no way provoked any argument or altercation, as evidenced by the fact that three assailants were arrested.

We hope that Kenneth fully recovers from his injuries; however, he is in great pain at this time. We will be pursuing legal action at our discretion. This was a truly senseless hate crime carried out by racist union thugs. Regretfully, Representative Carnahan’s statements blaming Kenneth for being a disruptive force are wholly untrue and slanderous. We would like to think that an elected official in Representative Carnahan’s position would gather accurate information before carelessly rushing to judgment.

Kenneth supports conservative ideals, although he subscribes to no particular political party. We are calling on the SEIU, Representative Carnahan, and President Obama to condemn the racist actions of these union thugs. In the days to come, we will be investigating whether these thugs are working at the behest of Representative Carnahan and how strong their alliances to various organizations–such as ACORN–may be.

We hope the St. Louis Tea Party and tea party organizations around the country will protest Representative Carnahan’s offices and also protest SEIU offices in every major city across the U.S. These Democratic strong-arm tactics must end now.

    Regards,

    Attorney David B. Brown

:popcorn:So has anyone found a town hall meeting in Indiana yet? I don't care if your union or not, if you stand against the same things I do then we will stand together. If we agree to disagree then so be it.
