Sold the EOTech and bought a Trijicon MRO 2.0 Green Dot w/ Scalarworks mount for the Noveske. Lightened the gun over 5 oz.
I swapped out the KX5 for a V7 Helios a few weeks ago. Reduced the weight at the business end by 3+ oz. and I replaced the BCG with a Brownells Low Mass BCG for an additional 4 oz. reduction.

I'm diggin' this one. I had one of the original MRO red dots... Hated it. It had an obvious blue tint to the lens and it had a slight magnification. Which drove me crazy. So glad Trijicon got those issues worked out on these new green dots!

That's a very sweet setup. I wonder if you have considered going with a lighter SBA3 brace to shave weight further?

Dang, now you got me thinking...
It's been so long since I built the Noveske I forgot what the SBPDW brace weight was. I looked it up: 18.4 oz. YIKES!!!
Funny, because I built the gun with that brace in mind from the onset I just accepted it "belonged" on there.
