Protecting the discovery of a meth lab, perhaps? I hate to speculate this early, but if the news has taught me anything, it's to make sweeping generalizations before any facts are known.

I just find our media ridiculous the recent school shooting happened and now they want to make sure every time a gun is fired its on the front page of the news. what about the shootings that happen every night in Chicago or even in the suburbs i work in east Chicago and there's always some one shooting our media sucks. they just feed off this stuff until a tornado comes then thell focus on that. sry for the rant:patriot:

I am with you but, I beleive that the term "people" is incorrect in this situation. This would be better described as scum, scuzz, worm slime..............! Makes me mad as hellllllll that any human can take the life of another without reguard. :xmad: To take the life of those that are here to help us or the inoccent that have done nothing worng is just unacceptable.

It's time to make examples of those that have no reguard for life. Personally, I feel that these scum bags need to be publicly hung, even if their already dead. Let them be a warning to others that have the thought of doing something stupid.

This was a tactic employed in the 60's. Start a fire, get the FD there and then snipe at them. My Uncle was a fireman in DC at the time and left because of that crap.

That's 90% of it right there. The other 10% is its a lot more interesting when firefighters get shot as opposed to gang members and dopers shooting at each other. Even right here in Indy it made the paper when IFD was shot at, but I can tell you the vast vast vast majority of shootings never make a blip in the paper/tv.

There are several places here in Indy back in the 90's where first responders wouldn't go unless they had a police escort. Until this nation tuffens up and starts making public examples out of these scum bags we will continue to hear stories like this. Criminals praying on the weak or in this case "Unarmed".
