    Let me get this straight.

    A. I do work on a per item basis, my decisions affect my day and those around me.
    B. My boss makes decisions that affect the entire crews production
    C. His boss makes decisions that affect the entire department
    D. His boss makes decisions that affect the entire plant
    E. His boss makes decisions that affect the entire division
    F. And his boss makes decisions that effect the entire company

In the the eyes of the Occupy turds and many other liberal turds like them A=B=C=D=E=F?

If we all get grapes who will be left to shoulder the stress of "F"?
Worse yet who will aspire to ever be more than "A"?

I had occasion to meet with some of the occupiers in Fort Wayne, and came away from each encounter shaking my head, wondering how people could come to such a gross misunderstanding of how an economy works. I found them to be generally lazy, self-centered, and unwilling to accept any degree of responsibility for their lack of success in life. They were heavily influenced by socialist teachings, anarchist tendencies, and held a deep resentment for what the 1960s hippies used to call "the establishment." On more than one occasion, they attempted to bait local law enforcement into confrontations that we knew would be surreptitiously recorded (sound familiar?) and immediately posted on YouTube in order to create distrust of government and rally greater numbers of equally uninformed people to donate goods and services in support of their encampment. While this "movement" stood no chance of replacing the free-market economy on its own, it was a useful political tool for those seeking to further the goals of the Democratic Party. (Various Union organizers and other officials were key players in the launch of Occupy Fort Wayne, and donations of food, equipment, and cash were organized by these officials for several months) They got played, just like Cindy Sheehan did; they were identified for their beliefs, encouraged and supported financially, given access to media outlets, and harvested for political gain before being relegated to obscurity. The occupiers were allowed to illegally camp in a downtown city park for months, until after the 2011 municipal elections were over, and then quietly evicted once they had served their purpose of motivating like-minded voters to the polls.

Once a person or group of people have drank enough of the Kool-aid and been assimilated into a particular mind set you can spend all the time and energy you have trying to convince them differently. No amount of statistics/info/common sense will sway them back into the light once they have been consumed by the dark side. The only way they will move is to sell them on something with more hand outs and more tolerance for their Bravo Sierra life style.

It is really too late. We are loosing the republic.

Maybe some people in the Occupy groups think this, but I don't think its a categorical assessment of the whole "movement."

That was a funny video. I think many of us have felt the same way when we've been given the equivalent of cucumbers for a job while our coworker(s) have been given the equivalent of grapes for the same/very similar jobs.

If you agree to work for cucumbers, then be happy with your cucumbers.
if someone else can negotiate grapes for the same job, you need to work on your negotiation skills.
The cucumber monkey was simply renegotiating his contract, a perfectly acceptable response.
