Utilitarian ILEA Grad Present?

My son graduates from IMPD academy in a few weeks. I got a Benchmade Triage rescue knife to give him at graduation to replace the cheap Kershaw he's been using during FTO.

I carry a cheap Kershaw. Thanks for making me feel woefully inadequate. Well, more than I already do. And good luck to your son.

Ha, sorry about that. My Kershaw is with me everyday too. It works for what I need it to do.

I do like the feel of the Benchmade but for what I personally need out of an everyday knife I doubt I'll ever pop for one for myself.
