Vehicle carry on school property

Saw a Facebook posting last night that SB229, allowing weapons being on school property in locked vehicles, had passed. The posting was by a 3rd party, but was one by Rep Jim Lucas, the author. Was not mentioned at all last night in the network news, or today for that matter. Anyone know if it really passed the House and Senate?
