Verizon Network Down?

This has been going on all day, I can't make a call, a txt, I can't log onto Verizon.com. I'm not able to make it to verizon today to ask what is going on.
Don't know if the network is down but I get one bar of signal when opening my phone, but when I make a call or txt it says call failed, txt failed.

Is anyone else having this issue?

My Verizon seems to be working OK. I'm getting email, however, I did send my wife two texts with no reply. She could just be ignoring me.

I've heard we are in the peak of the 11year solar flare cycle and to expect problems with phones etc. over next few days.

I'm too lazy to look it up right now but I think one of the largest CME's we've had in years hit either yesterday or today .

My GPS has been screwy for the last two days .

That explains a lot. I was driving around Dallas on Wed. and my GPS was acting wacky.

Verizon was down to one bar in nashville all day on friday in Nashville...couldn't even get 1x(2g)
