    I've dabbled in woodworking for more than 40 years. I've made many, many things that turned out really nice in my opinion, and even some others.

    That said, I probably have a little better idea than your "average Joe" of the degree of difficulty involved in such a project. These technical challenges are GREATLY exaggerated if you don't have the proper tools.

    There is a LOT of time, sweat, and sheer craftsmanship that goes into such a piece of art.

    I'd love to own something similar, but unless I hit the lottery, I can't justify that kind of outlay for what I consider a luxury item. It is NOT a safe.

    Thank you for you comment. My step-father was a wood worker as a hobby. He was skilled, but even with all his tools and time, nothing came out as neat as you would see by a professional craftsmen. He and you have my respect!
