This pre 1900 antique Swiss rifle was professionally sporterized by Sears in the 1930s. It has been converted to center fire. The action and feed mechanism are strong and functional.
There are a few minor condition issues that need to be addressed like loose wood screws in the stock.
Loaded ammo is expensive but available from the commercial reloaders or brass can be made from 8mm Lebel. Takes common 44cal size bullets.
My intent was to re-blue this rifle and get it shooting, but I lost interest in it and it's been sitting for a few years.
