    ...yes I know!

My bad for shopping at walmart on the first of the month.

Nice lady with her adult daughter who had her 5 kids was in front of me at checkout.

She and the daughter used 4 different payment cards ( a few were state issued) to pay for the food. She had to juggle some of the amounts so she could get them all to work. When all was done, she had a second order of non food items. She pulled out a bank envelope with at least $1,000 to pay for the $200 ish in stuff.

I love seeing my tax dollars at work.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking and went in Kroger today. It was a real adventure. I saw a 600 lb woman with bright green hair, numerous young, but morbidly obese people riding in the store provided hoveround things, and more young white chicks with sores all over their bodies than I really wanted to know existed, and all of them had at least 3 kids with them.

Welfare day is an amazing thing.

I saw a very well dressed hispanic family, man, woman, snd three small children, do four seperate transactions, all with different cards at Kroger a while back. They proceeded to go out and load all that stuff in a brand new Escalade with nice shiny Kentucky tags (it's easier for illegals to get tags in Kentucky).

It is amazing that the harder you work the more the "O-Bozo" wants to take from you and give to lazy slobs that don't try to provide for themselves or their family!!

What is so disheartening is that there is an entire subculture of people in this country who are at least as well versed in the laws pertaining to how you maximize welfare freebies, hide other income, skate out on your debts, etc, as some of us are versed in firearms laws.

The only question you have to ask yourself is "who is the dumb ass?"

Those who work for a living and get by or those who don't and get free? I'll admit to having days where I'm not so sure it's worth it being willing to do for mine when it's become so incredibly easy to do nothing and expect someone else to provide. There really are precious few consequences to being a lazy ****.

Same here. As I waited to pay for a single loaf of bread, the woman in front of me made about six different transactions out of one cart of goods. Everything was paid for with some kind of paper vouchers and $12 and change.
    I don't get it!:dunno:

It took the cashier about three or four times as long to ring her out.

You should see folks on Medicaid/Medicare (yes, it also gets abused) who act like they can't pay for their insulin (three dollars on Medicaid) but will pay cash, which they pull from their Coach purse from beneath their iPhone and Mercedes keys, for various pain meds that Medicare/Medicaid may not pay for. Hell...even if Medicaid DOES pay for it, it's still fun to listen to them ***** about how their insurance is supposed to cover it. Yeah...it is...that's a $300 supply of Insulin and about $75 worth of narcotics.

The more interesting thing is that their votes will cancel you and your spouses. In a few years, their 5 kids votes will out number your two kids AND my two kids.
