Based on what I can see out on Gunbroker I'd say you got a great deal. I have no idea on when it was produced.

What are you wasting your time asking us fer!?! BUY IT! :D

Still kicking myself for getting rid of my stainless new model Smith PPK/S. All the PPK, including the .32, that I've shot were insanely accurate for a small gun, VERY controllable for anyone and carried well despite their weight. Yes, yes, people will howl about similar sized guns being lighter, more powerful (read: 9x19) or more capacity, but for the quality in the PPK and their weight making them controllable, they are still a solid piece of weapon.

I've been wanting a PPK for a while now.

Can someone briefly explain the "Interarms" label they have? Is a PPK more desired than a PPK/S?

S&W does not import them, they build them for Walther. Mine is a S&W built PPK/S. They added a bigger beavertail but I think quality suffered with the move to S&W. It took nearly 500 rounds and some tweaks to get mine to run reliably. One of the things S&W does is leave a lot of sharp edges. Now that it's running well, it's a fun gun to shoot. That double action pull is a bit stout and makes me long for the smooth 25# trigger on a Nagant pistol. :)
