Sgt Wade was in my company. We're having a memorial for him at FOB Sharana in a few days. He was a good NCO, and a friend. His soldiers liked and respected him, which says a lot about the quality of his leadership, and how he interacted with his guys. He'll be greatly missed among us.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you mind tagging pics of his memorial to his FB page. I know his mother and family would appreciate it.

Thank you for your service this country :patriot:

I'll be in formation for it, but I'll be sure to get pictures from whoever's taking them.

I got to meet Sgt. Wade back in 2009. His mother and I used to work together and I consider her a very good friend. The saddest part of this story (as if it needed to get any worse) is that this is the second son taken away at such a young age from his family. I was is total disbelief when I saw this on the news last night. The Wade's have lost 2 of their 3 children and no one deserves to go through this!!! :(
