Para as a company no longer exists. It was acquired by Remington in 2012 and they killed off the brand in 2015. At least according to my Google-fu. How long before spare parts for the Warthog becomes an issue if it's not already? I believe CZ discontinued the RAMI as well, but that's irrelevant since you already have one.

Might be worth looking at a Dan Wesson ECO if you're considering a compact-style 1911, or the Ruger Officer 1911 if you can find one. The ECO was discontinued by DW in 2020 so those are going to take some patience for the right one to come up.

I've owned both the Ruger Officer and the ECO. I still have the ECO. This isn't a knock on the Ruger, it was a great pistol, never gave me a lick of trouble.

This might be as close as you can get to the Warthog in a current production gun.
