Maybe a long shot but.. Does anyone have any knowledge on the ban? My brother lives over there and is basically afraid to open his safe anymore because the laws are getting out of control. Google says possession is still legal, but he is still hesitant to take anything to the range. My main question is- What technically counts as "importation"? He has a broken CMR30 (cringe if you want), and has contacted Keltec, who says send in the rifle and they will fix/update for free and send back to him.
Does this count as an "import"?

Importation means from out of the country in my mind. Although that extension of CA may have their own definitions.

I'm more worried about their definition of infringe!
Yes that's exactly the problem... everyone's mind interprets thing differently. The bill (HB 1240) does not specify exactly what importing means.
