Wasr 10/63 Bare Metal Were Mag Wells Were Opened

I have a wasr 10/63 and i was just wondering what others have done to re finish the bare metal were the mag wells were opened up for the double stack mags. Ive thought of cold blueing the metal or just polishing the edges up a bit to make them less sharp. Im not to worried about appearances but rather rust problems. Any input would be appreciated.

If you blue them and put in a few magazines you'll just rub the bluing off. Why worry?

Low gloss, high temp engine paint.

I just polished mine with a Dremel and slapped on some cold blue.
If it wears off I'll slap some more on.

High temp flat black, they make it for gas/charcoal grills. I used it on all bare metal during my Saiga conversion an it looks perfect.
