WASR 3 IN 556 WHATS YOUR OPINIONS ON IT ?

Ok guys, my best friend gave me a Wasr 3 with 6 magazines today for my Birthday !! First I want to say thank you Darrell, nothing better to easy the fact of growing another year older then a new Rifle. Now have any of you guys owned one ? Looks like a run of the mill Wasr, but chambered in 556. I kind of like that as It shoots the same Cal. as my Ar-15. So guys give me the run down on your experiences with the Wasr 3.

Hope you got some good mags with it. The "converted" orange bakelite mags the WASR-3s often come with are pretty much garbage (but oddly enough, seem to work just fine in 5.45x39 AKs). E. German Weiger or Romanian steel 30rd 5.56 mags are by far your best options if you can track them down.

Thanks Shooter, 5 are the bakelite and 1-20 round Weiger. I will keep my eyes out for some more Weiger. Can't wait to get it to the range and see how she runs.
