The boss and I are looking to make a day trip with the kids in the next couple weeks before school starts back up. We were hoping to go to Holiday World for an overnight trip but it's just not in the cards for us right now.

We found the water park in Plainfield. It looks fun. Are there any comparable places you can recommend? We will most likely be going mid week to avoid the huge crowds.

I'm hearing radio commercials for a water park in Grant county I believe it is in Marion. They talk about large wave pool.

There's the indoor water park at the Pyramids.

We have been there. It's fun, but I would much prefer an outdoor park for summer time. Little tip for those considering Caribbean Cove for a fun trip for the kids. Don't stay at the hotel. You can buy a pass to the water park for the day. It is fun. The hotel rooms are not special by any means.

The hotel attached Caribian Cove is nasty do not stay there.

We were there a couple years ago there were stains on the sheets grime in the bathroom and a cockroach in the vending machine.

Carmel has the best water park in Central Indiana

The water park in Lebanon is actually pretty good. We have been there a few times. They have a lazy river, 2 slides, a wave pool, and a splash pad thingy. After you get done you can go to Parkey's and get some BBQ.
