Folks - my wife is one month away from giving birth to my second child. We would like to spend some relaxing time away from the house. She want to do nothing, but will count fishing as nothing. We are looking for a venue that has some low stress fishing options. We would like to be within a half day drive of central Indiana. Any ideas for us?

    Lake Erie walleye

Love Erie walleye, but for 8 mos preggers? No.

Never forget when we were catching perch every cast, hiding the tiny ones from the captain who wanted limit, not culling. Looked up once and realized what rough conditions we were in. Told my buddy, "if we had time to look around, we'd be terrified."

Couple of questions to help narrow things down.

Are you bank fishing or taking a boat?
What type of fish are you going after?

If you are bank fishing make sure to slather momma with plenty of bug spray!! The mosquito's are out in FULL force this year!! I wonder if it has anything to do with it being the wetest year since 1886?:dunno::laugh:
