So many things are felonies nowadays. I'm not sure exactly what constitutes felonious assault in your jurisdiction, but I do hope that you get clemency if it is appropriate, taking into account the nature of your offense and your clean living since then. No two crimes are exactly alike, even if the charge is the same.

    Good luck.

Well, it all started when this 83 year old man asked me to help him cross the street. So I picked up a crowbar and....

    No. Not really.

    Amen to that!

I hope you get good news back. Good luck to you!

    Thank you all.

    Best wishes.

I have appreciated your presence on this forum. You often present QUALITY POSTS and interesting feedback.

I have always wondered why you are so involved in an Indiana based forum.
    Still, great to have you.

Great to hear of your recent effort. Sounds like a lot of work, with all of the
    character letters and stuff.

First, thanks for the personal praise. I enjoy being here.

As to your question, I am very un-New York in my thoughts and beliefs. I am a member of several NY based forums as well. To keep it simple, I find a better connection to the ideals espoused here, than by those espoused by my fellow NY'ers.

Good luck. Hopefully things will work out and you'll just be a guy from NY.

Well, that was fast. Applicatoion returned.

    Denied.

And denied with a lie no less. The letter states, and I quote:

-- "Pardons are considered only when there is overwhelming and convincing proof of innocence which was not available at the time of conviction..."

Rick Walters, a hip hop star from the late 80s/early 90s was issued a full and unconditional pardon after serving his sentence for shooting 2 people and other miscellaneous weapons charges. The Governor at the time said

-- "Mr. Walters has fully served the sentence imposed upon him for his convictions, had an exemplary disciplinary record while in prison and on parole, and has been living without incident in the community for more than 10 years. ..."

I've been living in my community without incident for 15 years. I didn't shoot anybody. Whatever.

I'm just gonna go over here and be a piece of :poop: convict.
