My son is also shipping out for Great Lakes in September. Gonna do Air Crew. Whatever that is. Then work to change over to SWCC crew. Wants to run that Minigun and the Ma Deuce.

I was a Russian Linguist in the Army. I know squat about Navy MOS's.

That's awesome. I spent 9 1/2 years in the Army before I got out with medical issues (got out Sept 10) but I'm glad to see that there are still some people in this generation that are willing to put their lives on the line
