Wondering if anyone has fished West Boggs recently. Thinking about a spring trip for crappies and panfish. Hoping any folks who have fished it can give a brief report and/or some tips as to location to fish in mid May.

Well if fishing doesn't work out you have Stoll's Lakeview restaurant right there and that is always good!

My nephew in Bloomington fishes there. Can't offer spots, but panfishing there is good.

We found West Boggs Resevoir. Two couples one day fishing results. Caught same amount the next day.

I've been thinking of heading there and give it a try this weekend. The full moon last weekend was prolly the ticket. You wacked them good!

I tried that but can't sent a pm until I reach 50 post and that might be a while. I usually just read what others have to say. I was at West Boggs for the only time last summer bass fishing with the wife and we wore them out.
