Thank you for that. I love Mark Knopfler. Have you listened to any of his solo stuff that came after the Neck and Neck, and Knotting Hillbillies albums?

Didn't really listen to Maiden's newer stuff until they played this one on the Legacy of the Beast tour. It's not exactly as positive about religion as the name might suggest, btw

I know it's not an age thing, since these guys have been around for awhile now, but I just have never cared for "angry" music. For example, when I worked for BMG Music, Staind was one of "our" artists, and I liked the song "It's Been Awhile", so I bought the CD. Put it in and was cleaning house. By the time I was half way through the CD, I felt like kicking the dog. I don't like music that makes me feel that way. :dunno:

    See, it works!
    That's called - Mood Music. :):

I find a time and a place to play certain things and to not play certain things. I was also a drummer so that kind of throws a wrench into the works. I'm very drum bias. I do draw the line when it comes to speed/death metal or grunge crap.

This is (without drums) my all time favorite songs written by (but not played) my all time favorite Rocker.
I'm still waiting for him to tour in my area so I can go to his concert.
I give you the worlds first Heavy Metaler among all the Rock & Rollers of his time.
