My dad used to sit on the front porch, w/ a pack of cigs, a mixed drink, and the police scanner, for hours. When I was a kid I had all the "10" codes memorized, but that is lost with most of the rest of my memory

exactly...my dad used to listen to his scanner downstairs in the workshop with a whiskey highball and his winston reds. Now whenever I smell sawdust, it takes me back to that time...good times....
