Started a series called the "Wu Assassin" on Netflix. Not too bad. Martial arts in chinatown kinda deal with a bit of mystic powers thrown in.

My wife and I have been watching Burn Notice, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Chuck, Numb3rs, Firefly, Star Trek Enterprise, JAG and Heartland (Canadian show).

The good: Magic for Adults - my kids and I watch this together. It a series featuring a street magician doing stuff I have no explanation for, and it's funny.

The bad: First kill - A movie I watched last night featuring Hayden Christiansen (remember him) as a dad who takes his bullied kid to his rural hometown for a deer hunting trip. They witness a murder in the woods and the son is kidnapped. The rest of the movie is the Dad doing all types of stupid **** to try and get his kid back.

It features Bruce Willis as the town sheriff but he really just plays a lame version of Bruce Willis.

The acting is terrible, the plot is completely unbelievable, and it was an overall **** poor movie. I do not recommend.

I had that experience with Kill Chain on Amazon. Only made it about fifteen minutes before turning it off.

Agreed. I'm not sure why that is. It's like he'll take any acting job regardless of how bad it is. Maybe he needs the money.
