They need to film continually, all of the major books happen days or weeks apart.

In the books he gets on a bus at the end of the story and gets off the bus at the beginning of the next. The exception is the back story shorts.

They did a good job of incorporating some back story in the first episode.

Hopefully they will continue to be true to the books, since Lee Child is working with them

The Last Detective - Prime/Britbox. good, engaging show about a British detective in a smaller city. Protagonist is not a superstar and not a favorite of his "Guv" but gets the job done. As with many British show, the episodes run towards 90 minutes, so more like watch a short movie than a 45 minute (one-hour) show.

I decided to read the series: holy ****, 26 books! I'd better get going!

I downloaded an e-book bundle of the first 6 books from the library onto my Kindle. Love Child's writing so far!

Watched a couple of the 'Hallmark style' Christmas shows.

    Hit or miss
    Some aren't too bad.
Some.... cut it off before it goes to far and look for another.
I wish Hallmark would show more 1-hour shows instead of all movies. Not everyone always has the time (or attention span) for a movie. Besides, sometimes the movies move slowly enough that they could condense the 2 hours into 1 anyway.

I was looking through Netflix for something to watch when I saw a movie about a young man who was a walk on at the University of Arkansas. Being a fan of the Razorbacks, I decided to watch it. It's about Brandon Burlsworth and a true story. Maybe a little sappy at times but generally a good movie.

I'm about halfway through the second book, "Die Trying". Do some of the Montana Militia post here on INGO?

Book 3 Tripwire - Doesn't start with Reacher on a bus. He's in Key West, workign for a company installing in ground pools and as a bouncer in a titty bar. Gets a ride to Miami International in a hot car driven by a hot dancer. Don't know how it finishes yet.

    Haven't read book 2 yet...

Been a long time, I don't remember every detail. As I remember he went from one mess to another with little time in between.

My favorite line in one book,I think it was Echo Burning, where he supposedly quotes Nicolaus Copernicus, that the earth doesn't revolve around you.

All the time Child seems to say the world revolves around Reacher!
