When I decided to make GM in open I was dry firing 3 nights a week and shooting 6 matches a month and practicing 2 days a week.I was reloading 1000 rds a week. My dry fire was mainly draws and reloads. A draw of .8 seconds at 10 yrds. was my goal in these dry fire drills. Back then there was a lot of strong hand weak hand firing in USPSA so I did a lot of weak dry fire . Dry firing on the move was also done when my draw hand got to tired to draw for a while. 12 years later and I still dry fire about once a week and practice once a week. Reloading is down to 500 rds a week. Spoken by a 66 year old Greatgrandpaw.
