Wow Tyler, that's a heck of a list. Really impressed with the chronology. I sort of remember my first one, 1970 in Bloomington. Chicago Transit Authority. I think.

thanks! I have my wife to thank for the organization of it all. she did a really cool art project for me with all of my ticket stubs (although I'm missing more than a dozen or so). I saw this awesome thread and I copy/pasted the spreadsheet she used for her project. looking back on the list brings back more memories than my brain can handle lol. good times.

Here's a tough question, Best concert? Paul McCartney back in the 1990's. Did all the old Beatles music or Huey Lewis & the News with Tower of Power. Almost forgot the Who.

#1) my favorite concert = Van Morrison - April 2004 - Chicago Theatre

#2) when I was working at a CD store next to the Vogue, most of the artists/bands playing at night would come in in the early afternoon when their tour buses would get in to town and browse around/hang out. some of the coolest guys I ever met/hung out with were the Tower of Power horn section.

The Eagles Friday night. Good show (yes, even without Don Felder) plus I was older, smarter, and sober... and had my wife and kids with me. They are among the very few at high school who listen to oldies.
