Today was a light day, no fixed blade no ankle med kit(shorts). Slow day running a few errands close to home testing out the new Trektop on the Jeep. Plenty of med, spare mags, lights, and a rifle in the Jeep.

recently added an ASP concealable baton. LOVE IT!!! It's always good to have options, whether it is using it in the closed mode (punches or jabs) or open mode (strikes). Weighs 8oz and clips into my front pocket.

Lately, I've been throwing an older stainless Taurus 85 .38 special into a Galco OWB holster on my hip.
It's from 1990 and I found it still NIB (in the plastic wrap) and only 2 chamber holes on the cylinder had 'burn' marks on them.
It's bulls-eye accurate while shooting at 12', 15', and 21'.
Besides, I prefer a revolver...

40CM Airweight Agent. It's so lightweight though that you are better off opening it manually. It takes a HARD wrist snap to flick it open since it lacks the mass. I've not found a better baton for this purpose than the ASP.

I carry a cz p01 omega compact. Very reliable handgun. Great shooter too!
