    Revolvers, followed by 1911's. ... I came to the game late enough that .22lr wasn't really available so I haven't had much chance to shoot it. I enjoy shooting .17hmr more anyway, despite the higher cost per round.

    That's really hard to say. I don't have a gun I don't enjoy shooting. The most rewarding shot for me is not the one that hits the bulls eye, but the one that drops the deer! :yesway:

    Being left handed I prefer lever action rifles. Then next would be revolvers. Then muzzle loaders.

    Pistol caliber carbines. Cheap to shoot, more accurate than a pistol, and lots of fun.
