I finally got the upgrades to mine completed. It is indescribable. I can't put into words how smooth it is. Love that gun. It is my HD gun. I need to get a light for it.

I changed EDC pistols and holsters more than my underwear it seemed for a while. Then I bought a Kimber Ultra II in 9mm paired with a Mitch Rossen holster and never looked back. When it comes time to replace it, I will no doubt buy another compact Kimber. Maybe a .45 this time around.

I also routinely wear a revolver, but its not my "primary sidearm" over the long term. I've also rotated backup guns until settling on the LCR.

Unfortunately, we sold nearly everything we had after I lost both of my jobs within 5 days in May/June of 2009. It took about 18 months but we've started building back up...very carefully this time! The only CC gun that survived all that was the Ruger SP101!

With a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel, my Gen II G-23 is probably my favorite Glock pistol to shoot...it's a dad-gum tack driver!

The only significant difference between the two is the P01 has a rail and is a little blockier in the slide. I say this but I have never actually owned a P01, just seen comparison threads on other forums.
