The wife decided that Mountain House 72 hour kit would be the perfect Christmas present, I think she is officially on board.

Me and the wife did a total of 47 miles of walking from last Sunday thru Wednesday. Disney world is a great place for that, as long as you don't overindulge in all the food offerings there, even had quite a few beers at Epcot, and didn't gain a pound.

I have to say i am way behind on most of these things and after reading through some of these pages weare literally getting ready to leave the house and go shopping. We have talked about it many times. Now its time to start doing it and got to start somewhere.

I got a tow strap for Christmas, so that's part of my vehicle preps.

I bought some Gatorade mix and some Gatorade brand protein bars (new to me).

I have not drank anything harder than beer since YTK New Year. I stopped the beer over a year ago.
Thing is, My son/SIL still like to have an adult beverage or 10 on the weekend.

If SHTF I would need some sort of alixer for the soul to keep them from having a meltdown.......

Watched "close quarter combat" .... unplanned. On the advice of an INGOer, we bought a DVD on night vision equipment. They sent the correct case and title but different material was on the disk. So we just left it running but will hopefully be able to exchange it for the one we actually wanted.

Writing the 2016 budget.

Also planning to sit down with my husband in the next few days and re-prioritize our list of preps, repairs, spending, etc.

Put in an order for a security system for the house
Ordered a dash cam for the truck (figured it's not a bad thing to have for a daily prep)
Started the process for the wife's LTCH
More food, water, and other supplies taken to the BOL
Constructed some storage solutions at the BOL
Got more firewood to the BOL
Threw away a bulged can of Spam (it was a sad day)
Ordered a 1776 United Gadsen hat and Ghost Gun Patch

Sent out an email to all the half hearted, sunshine patriot, big talkers I know letting them know that ammo, mags, complete rifles, and just about anything else they think they want is either bought up right now, or just about to be. These are the guys who won't embrace discomfort to train, won't sacrifice anything to get better at anything, but will claim to know human history, politics and pretend to be concerned with what's going on the in the world. The best thing I can do for sheep, is send them a gentle reminder that if they're short on mags, ammo and any other kinds of gun related goodies that they need to buy more stuff they'll never use.
