43 is closed, emergency lights everywhere, the third lifeline helicopter has landed, two others have come and gone, I'm counting 7 emergency vehicles, all I can get is they are moving some people from Greene County,
Wow, that doesn't seem all that smart... driving around with a bunch of kids in the back of a truck, especially when it appears as if the kids aren't your own kids (based upon the names listed in the article).
I saw something like this happen some years ago at an intersection in Bloomington, with a truck bed full of college age guys. The truck was T-boned, and the bodies flew 6-10 ft. in the air. one of them almost landed on the hood of my car. Fortunately no one was killed, but it was only by the grace of God. The image of those bodies flying around and crashing onto the asphalt is seared into my brain.
I asked and the same helicopter made the three landings..... They also went and checked out the accident scene with the spotlights to look for others. That is why I thought three helicopters landed. ( and I was half asleep)
