I absolutely love shooting my M44, well..minus the sore shoulder at around 15-25th shot..bundled up in cold weather is probably ideal for this beast!

The thought of that VEPR has crossed my mind. I would sell off my 54c and all the gear, buy the VEPR attach an SVD style polymer handguard and an SVDS stock. The single stack doesn't bother me that much but the price of converting this to where I would like it would be a good chunk of change I could save towards a TIGR...Which I want realllllly bad. Realistically I see myself keeping the PSL while hunting for a TIGR
