    Anyone out there had any experience with RWL 34 blade steel ? Is it any good ? What more common steels does it compare to ? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

    What knife are you after that uses that blade steel? I know I first researched it after seeing it used on the Grimsmo Norseman models, those young men are making some badass blades for sure. They sell in seconds on BFC.

    RWL34 is a powder steel equivalent to CPM154.

    This right here means that it's right good blade steel for many knives and uses.

    When makers started using Hitachi ATS-34 back in the 1990s, it eclipsed 154CM for a quite a while. The composition and properties are almost identical between the two. 154CM has had a resurgence lately (maybe because of availability and price compared to ATS-34). Particle melt versions of both (CPM 154 and RWL34) have elevated both to a higher level.
